We invite you and your children to participate in Mason-Rice Green Team Kids new drop-in series of monthly after-school sessions focused on environmental education and action. The first Green Team Kids session takes place NEXT Friday, January 31, from 3-4:30 pm, in Room 25. Participants will learn about youth climate activists such as Greta Thunberg, will create signs to raise awareness about climate change, and will then take part in a march with their signs through Newton Centre. This session is open to students in Grades 3-5 (unaccompanied) and students in K-2 (with a caregiver). Space is limited. Register for the January 31st session here.
