Summary: 3/1 Meeting, Snow Activity and Work on Assembly Video

On March 1, we started our session with a fun outdoor activity to give the Green Team Kids an opportunity to enjoy the snow.  Barbara, Celina's mom, kindly offered to talk to the students about why you should never eat snow.  The students noticed the untouched snow behind the basketball courts on on the playground looked white and clean (and possibly edible).  But be careful, Barbara warned, as scientists have shown that snow (especially in urban areas) absorb pollutants from car exhaust fumes.  As an experiment, the students collected snow from different parts of the playground to bring back to the classroom.  They would observe whether there would be visible pollutants once the snow had melted. Once inside, we began our preparation for the upcoming March 26 school assembly.
